This very scenic ride follows River Road to Shallow Crossing on the Clyde River, which is the turnaround point for the return via the same route. The full ride is about 39km and is mostly undulating with no significant hills and rated as moderate difficulty. It is testing due to the numerous small rises along its length. It crosses Currowan Creek on a concrete causeway which may have water over it.There will be the option of 2 or 3 different paced groups for the full length ride. For those who would like a shorter distance at an even slower pace, it will be very easy to organise themselves by moving the start point closer to Shallow Crossing, as the route simply follows River Road out and back. The exact distance can be determined by consensus on the day. There are no shops or cafes on the way so food and drink should be taken. Coffee will be in Nelligen at the conclusion of the ride. The route can be viewed at http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Eurobodalla-District-Nelligen-to-Shallow-Crossing-and-return

A leisurely ride from Riverside Park out along South Head Drive on the bike path, 2km on the road, then back on the bike path to the Moruya Surf Life Saving Club then turn around and do it again back to Riverside Park for a BBQ lunch at 12 noon. A small cost for the BBQ this time. This ride does have a couple of challenging hills and for new riders and younger riders it may not be suitable.
All riders are welcome. Just make sure your bike is in good working order and that you have a suitable helmet for riding, as safety and fun go hand in hand.
Inexperienced riders, returning riders and families with children may wish to simply explore Moruya on the various bike paths. With kilometre after kilometre of bike paths you can explore along the river or even ride out part way on the South Head cycle path though do not venture past the end of the path.
Or you may wish to join in one of the organised rides with EuroBug** exploring the Moruya bike paths from Riverside Park.
