Moruya Jockey Club holds horse racing events throughout the year for the regional towns of Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma in the Eurobodalla Shire.
The Moruya Jockey Club races 8 times a year. The feature meetings/races include the Narooma Cup and Moruya Cup in January, the Batemans Bay Cup in March and the Winter Cup and South Coast Classic held at the July Registered Clubs Raceday.
The current course was opened in 1985. It is an excellent all-weather turf track on a sand base with a bore watering system. The sand base provides a cushioned surface which is gentle on the horses legs.
The track circumference is 1760 metres with the length of the straight at 400 metres and width at 20 metres.
