Broulee is surrounded by crystal clear waters, great surf and wide expanses of sandy beach. Broulee Island Nature Reserve, joined to the mainland by a sandbar, provides magnificent ocean vistas across pristine rock pools. Nearby coastal villages - Mossy Point, Tomakin, Rosedale and Guerilla Bay - offer their own charm.

The waters surrounding Broulee are great for swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. Candlagan Creek offers calm water and shallow play-pools that are ideal for families while Burrewarra Point to the north is a popular spot for divers.

Surfing is a way of life in Broulee with some of the region’s most popular surfing spots all within easy reach. On the northern side of Broulee Island you will find Pink Rocks – a favourite with locals. Some fantastic surf schools are available to get you standing up on your board and riding a wave.

Rock platforms and idyllic beaches make Broulee Island Nature Reserve the perfect spot for a scenic walk. The walk features a wonderful display of native plants and plenty of opportunities for birdwatchers – offering the chance to see the white-bellied sea eagle or the superb fairy wren.
