Eurobodalla Coast Tourism (ECT) is the Local Government Tourism organisation managed and primarily funded by Eurobodalla Shire Council. ECT is charged with marketing and developing Eurobodalla as a destination to domestic and international visitors, trade, media and business. ECT is a membership base organisation with around 300 financial members including accommodation providers, tour operators, retail business, restaurants, cafes, clubs, art galleries, health and beauty services, real estate and other businesses.
All of these businesses share one thing in common – they are committed to the development of sustainable tourism across Eurobodalla.
Eurobodalla Shire Council has an important leadership role in tourism and during the 2011-2012 year will finalise a review of its tourism activities, operations and strategic plan. The review project is jointly funded by Council and the NSW Department of Industry and Investment. The new approach arising from this review will be a significant milestone for the community and tourism industry and will shape the future direction of tourism in Eurobodalla in areas such as product and infrastructure development, visitor services and destination marketing.
Tourism is everybody’s business in Eurobodalla.
