There are unusual plants, jewellery, homewares, furniture and great pottery - and the artworks are astounding.
Enjoy coffee and cake, gourmet pastries or a delicious lunch at one of Mogo’s cafes. If there’s still room, indulge on ice-cream or fudge... or both!
Need to walk off lunch? Embark on one of six walking tracks winding around the natural features of the botanic gardens (located just a few kilometres north of Mogo).
The gardens focus on plants native to the NSW south coast and adjacent ranges and attract a myriad of birdlife. Other features include a cafe, nursery and picnic area. Just behind Mogo village, you can journey back through time at the re-creation of a nineteenth century gold rush village at the Original Gold Rush Colony, formerly known as Old Mogo Town.
Want to see the only White Lion pride in Australia? They’re just around the corner from Mogo village at the Mogo Zoo. You’ll also get to eyeball other big cats, marvel at the playful primates and see a whole range of rare and exotic species.
There are accommodation options for visitors keen to stay in the Original Gold Rush Colony (South Coast Accommodation at Old Mogo Town) or nearby.
