As the heart and hub of the Eurobodalla, Moruya is a great base to explore all the region has to offer, located only 20 minutes south of Batemans Bay and 45 minutes north of Narooma.

Moruya is a shopper's dream, from the Saturday morning markets to antique and second hand stores and the beautiful boutique shops offering fine clothes, jewellery and home wares.

And when you've worked up an appetite from all that shopping there are a number of great little cafes, many offering healthy alternatives and great coffee. The restaurant by the river offers fantastic fare and a fantastic view.

With the town located on the scenic Moruya River there's easy access to sightseeing and fishing cruises. Deua National Park forms the rugged forest terrain backdrop behind Moruya and is a haven for birdlife and unique flora and fauna.

Moruya is home to the famous Moruya Jazz Festival which visitors flock to every October.

The local museum featuring wonderful exhibits and information about the township's rich shipping, dairying and gold mining history. The granite used in the pylons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge was quarried in Moruya - a fascinating story in itself - and many of the town's beautiful old buildings are made from the local stone.

The local golf course is generally flat but its layout is not without challenges - perfect for the thinking golfer.

Just south of Moruya are the small communities of Congo and Bingi Bingi offering seclusion, great swimming and a special place called the Bingi Dreaming Track.

The region's only airport is based at Moruya and operates regular Sydney and Melbourne flights. Scenic flights and skydiving are now available from the Moruya Airport for a bird's eye view of the land of many waters.

Moruya is ideally located in the centre of the Eurobodalla region making it the perfect place to base your stay allowing for easy drives to surrounding areas and attractions.
