Montague Island Tours
One of the best attractions on the South Coast is a Tour to Montague Island. Relax aboard one of our vessels and enjoy your twenty minute voyage to Montague's resident Seal Colony. Montague Island is well known for its colony of Little Penguins. These birds return to their burrows each evening after a busy time fishing in the waters in and around the Island. This nightly migration can be viewed on the evening tour to the Island.

Fishing Trips
Montague and the surrounding area is host to some of the best fishing in NSW with an abundance of reef fish (Snapper, Morwong, Long Fin Perch and Pig Fish). The area has large schools of Kingfish for the Sportfisherman and Gamefishing for Marlin, Tuna and Sharks is as good as it gets. Half day and Full day trips available. Individual and group bookings welcome.

Scuba Diving and Snorkelling
Diving Montague Island is a rare treat with up to 1500 Aussie and New Zealand Fur Seals resident on the Island. The Island is situated 5 miles off the coast and has consistently good visibility and warmer waters from the great eastern current. Many fish species call Montague home and a dive / snorkel with the seals is a must.

Whale Watching ( September to November )
Pods of up to 10 whales are not uncommon and often swim to the boat where they seem curious about the people watching them. Since we began Whale Watching Tours from Narooma there has been a success rate of 98% with many people who have been all over the world specifically to see Whales commenting that Narooma has turned on the best Whale Watching they have ever seen.

Cancellation Policy / Terms & Condition

Narooma Charters reserves the right to cancel any Tour due to weather sea conditions or safety reasons.

For the purpose of these tours Infants are aged 0-12months; Children 1-15 years and; 16 years + are an adult fare.

The Tour boat crews will do their very best to ensure the Tours get to the Island and that everyone enjoys their trip. However safety and comfort is always Narooma Charters highest priority.

All other trips
A full refund will be given if a trip is cancelled by Narooma Charters.
If a trip is cancelled after proceeding a proportion of the cost based on time will be refunded after fuel costs.
Full boat bookings may cancel 1 week prior for a full refund less an ECT administration fee
Individual bookings may cancel or transfer 72 hrs prior for a full refund less an ECT administration fee; cancellation or transferral within 72 hours of departure or in the event of a customer not boarding - no refund available.
